Community Safety and Policing Meeting – Thank you!

Community Safety and Policing Meeting
Community Safety and Policing Meeting 7.00 pm on Tuesday 20 October 2015 Kennington Park Community Centre Following concerns raised at the last TRA meetings, we are holding a special meeting to discuss how we can tackle and reduce anti-social behaviour on the estate. Local Police, Lambeth Council Community Safety, Hyde officers and the Cabinet Member for Community Safety (local Cllr Jane Edbrooke) will joining us. Come and share your concerns, ideas and hear what options we can explore.
Kennington Oval Vauxhall Forum – New Board!
Members of the KPE Tenants Association attended the Annual General Meeting of the Kennington Oval Vauxhall (KOV) Forum on 8th October 2015. KOV elected their executive committee during the meeting, including Helen Monger as Chair. Oval Cricket Ground: Redevelopment of the Peter May Stand
Redevelopment of the Peter May stand in the cricket ground has just started and construction is scheduled for completion by the end of April/beginning of May 2016. During the demolition and rebuilding work, the heavy construction vehicles servicing the site will arrive via Clayton Street. Residents should be careful of construction traffic when crossing Clayton Street and Kennington Oval. This traffic should not start before 0800 in the morning.
